My Approach To Treatment
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care that honors the complexity of each individual’s mental health journey. I recognize that conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma affect each person differently, and that seeking support can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel supported, heard, and informed throughout your care.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare and a holistic approach to mental wellness, I understand that emotional, physical, and social factors all contribute to overall well-being. My work focuses on psychiatric assessment and medication management, including careful evaluation of symptoms, discussion of treatment options, and ongoing monitoring and adjustment of medications when appropriate. These conversations are collaborative and centered on informed choice, ensuring that treatment decisions align with your values, preferences, and goals.

I often work with individuals who are also engaged in therapy, providing medication management that supports and complements their broader mental health care. Through coordination with therapists and other providers when helpful, I aim to support continuity, clarity, and stability in treatment. Taking the first step, especially with a psychiatric provider, can feel challenging. I am committed to offering a thoughtful, transparent, and supportive process, so that together we can develop a care plan that feels respectful, empowering, and aligned with your needs.
