What services does Tumwater Therapy Collective offer?
We provide psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management, and holistic mental health support for adults. We do not provide services to anyone under age 18.
Do you specialize in certain populations?
Yes. We have extensive experience working with first responders, healthcare workers, and other professionals in high-stress careers.
Do I have to be a first responder or healthcare professional to receive services?
Not at all. We welcome anyone seeking mental health support. Our team has specialized expertise in working with first responders and healthcare professionals, but we serve adults from all walks of life.
*Dr. Jennifer Koch works exclusively with first responders due to the severe shortage of culturally competent providers trained to meet the unique needs of this population.
Do you offer in-person and telehealth appointments?
Yes, we offer both. Telehealth is available to any client residing in Washington state. In-person appointments are available in Tumwater, WA.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept Regence, Premera, & First Choice. We also accept L&I workers compensation claims. Our providers also offer private-pay options.
Do you bill secondary insurance?
We do not bill secondary insurance or out-of-network insurance plans. We can provide a superbill upon request.

What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first appointment focuses on understanding your goals, symptoms, and treatment needs. Your provider will complete an initial evaluation and discuss a plan for care. It’s also a chance to see if you and your provider are a good fit—an important part of creating a successful therapeutic relationship.
